We people are from chennai. We people came here to enjoy the climate of ooty and their respective places . I enjoyed lot of things in the ooty which is I am going to share.we were visited many natural beauties wrapped in the mist and me and my friends got excited, the city of serene wonder where mountains were stayed heights and neare to sky .that real excite ment for us. we planned to for 3 days trip.we landed on morning 8:00 o’clock by KPN travels.bus was quite comfortable for us. Nilgiris means “Blue Mountains”. Ooty popularly known as “Queen of the Hill Stations” situated at a distance of 105 km NW of Coimbatore.
7,400 feet above the sea level nested in the Nilgiri blue mountain ranges in the center of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Basically Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve is land of unique ecosystem because which differed with every climate of ooty. evergreen lush dense forests and large spacious tea plantations and lush green valleys and meadows, beautiful lakes, lofty mountains, wild variety of wildlife, and cultural diversities of natives. Nilgiris are situated at the junction of three southern states of India -Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.Ooty is the major tourist spot for all three states .During season time many foreigners would visit ooty and spent time with ooty.
Red Hills Area, Bandipur National Park, Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctury, Nagarhole National Park (Rajiv Gandhi National Park), and Mukurthi National Park are the most important place which must visit. On the way to ooty from Coimbatore hair pin bends were really threading for all drivers.which gives unique experience for us.After reaching ooty we just booked cab for us for the whole 3 days. There are many travels are available.i had a friend in ooty ,he recommened the travels as well as the resort too. best hotel in that city hotel name called”HOTEL SANJAY ” which is three star hotel and also affordable price for us. Where already we booked our rooms for a 3 day and 2night stay.we went to room, the room was spacious and the gardening works done by hotel was outstanding. The room service was in great quality.in hotel we get freshed and we were ready enjoy our days in ooty.we ate break fast hotel itself.

Morning 9:00 AM we started from resort.first day is we were going to spend with through Bandipur National Park in Karnataka and then Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary in Tamil Nadu. Both these places are wild forest. You can see visual difference between both forests. Both are unique forest and has plenty of animals and tree species. and both are contiguous forests .first we went to Bndipur National Park. our driver told us that we can stay overnight in one of forest lodges, jungle resorts, or forest department quarters in either alongside roads or deep in the jungle and enjoy jungle safaris for noisy but well guided tour or elephant rides for quiet but more adventurous tour or visit Theppakadu elephant training camp. Since I didn’t allocated any time and all my buses and hotels were pre-booked.while hearing this we planned if we visit next time we should not miss. bandipur is famous for tigers ,we can able see more number of tiger.during the trekking. A variety of flora, faunna outstanding scenic locations, and warm and friendly people can make for an attractive tourist destination.
One such heavenly destination is the Bandipur National Park, which is famous for its diverse flora and fauna.we just forgot all our thoughts .we went some by walk in the forest by help of our driver’s friend. The Bandipur National Park lies at the heart of an extended forest at the meeting point of the Western Ghats and Nilgiri Hills.the view of this is such great scenic we clicked through our camera. After spending huge time .and we had our lunch from some local hotel. After that we moved to mudumalai wild life sanctuary . the way mudumalai such unique experienced from us.The road is placed in between in the very deep forest. This is another wonderful location that must be visited. This wildlife sanctuary is located just 12 km to the south of the Bandipur National Park and provides the perfect atmosphere for a holiday close to nature.in mmudumalai we hired a elephant for the ride all were rided.that was great experience.we felt as childs during the elephant ride.during that time our driver told us if u have luck u can see wild dogs, old gaurs.during the time of our trekking we can able to see peacock, and other unknown variety of birds.we returned to hotel and had our dinner in hotel.that day was competed with enjoyable moments and threating shacks

As usal we started from hotel. First we planned to visit Dodabetta.that was amazing.
Dodabetta Peak on Ooty-Kotagiri Road situated at the juncture of Western and Eastern Ghats of Nilgiris. It is the highest peak in the Nilgiris and offers an excellent panoramic view of the Nilgiri hill ranges and this is a great place to see the mountainous valleys and peaks. The place is very serene. This place has a nice view tower wherein you can use high-power telescopes to view surrounding places.we enjoyed with the foods and snacks.we ate lot of icecreams and corns.By using that telescope we can able to see the whole city.we spent more time is well there Thee time is around 1:00 PM we finished our lunch .

After that we went to pykara. there lies popular retreat Pykara. Situated just 21 km away from Ooty, Pykara has popular attractions like Pykara Dam, Pykara Falls, and Pykara Lake. We enjoyed long stretch of boating on Pykara Lake and compare to Ooty Lake, this one was better experience because of its less commercial, secluded environment, and tranquil surroundings. One of the most memorable experiences was having tea at the small restaurant overlooking Pykara Lake. From Pykara, there is a side road that takes you northwestern side of Nilgiries for one of the hidden gems of the Nilgiries .pykara is trible treat for touris.first we spent time in pykara lake plenty of boats are riding that was great to see.we picked a boat and start to enjoy our time too.we took many photographs during boating.that was very interesting for us.the view of pykara lake is quite unique while comparing to other lakes.after that we went to pykara falls ,the water was very cool here too we clicked some unforgettable photos.we spent time upto 6:00 PM.it makes us very cool.the whole day was polite and chilledout.we can felt that very cool.we return back to hotel and in the hotel we got the opportunity of camp fire ,it was marvellous for that chillness.during that time they serve a hot special nilgiri tea.day2 was ended with some important views.we all get tiredand we had great sleep.

On day 3 we first started from upper bhavani.Upper bhavani is the area around the lake is a habitat to species like wolves, jackals, wild dogs, tigers and more. We saw only numerous bird species only. Thus, apart from the wondrous beauty of the place, it’s a great attraction for the adventure lovers too. That lake gives various views and quite unique for us.after spending fem time we planned to move ooty botanical garden.Ooty Botanical Garden is a hub for nature lovers. The Rose Garden is a small terrace atop a hill off Etiennes Road. Ooty Botanical Gardens are much more than just a relief to city weary eyes. It has an impressive array of ferns, plants, shrubs, herbs and bonsai plants that are a major draw. ooty botanical gardens are divided into six areas, which includes the Lower Garden, New Garden, Italian Garden, Conservatory, Fountain Terrace and Nurseries. A riot of colours await you at the widely spreading flower beds that are an intrinsic part of Ooty Botanical Gardens. Each garden provides the nature of own beauty.we clicked plenty of snaps with backgrounds. During the season time hosts an exhibition of rare plant species in May every year, another reason to visit this wonder work of nature.

We enjoyed the beauty of nature in ooty botanical garden. After having our lunch we moved to ooty rose garden. Centenary Rose Park is situated in the heart of Ooty town and it is located less than a km from ooty town, the rose garden is laid on 10 acres of land. This garden has been beautifully laid out in terraces with rose tunnels, pergolas and bowers with rose creepers. garden has the largest collections of roses in the country, around 3600 varieties of roses like Hybrid Tea Roses, miniature rose, Floribunda, Ramblers, roses of unusual colors like black, green and many more varieties of roses that will captivate your senses.each and every variety of rose were very beautiful and no words to describe that too. After spending few time we went to emrald lake that was a great picnic spot.

merald Lake is a great place for the lovers of photography. We took many photographs and enjoy the climate of that mansoon.we moved to shooting spot here plenty of film shooting has been taken and this also major place for photography. The land fully covered with the lush green. With a calm lake alongside the route leading to the point, it makes for a good picnic spot as well. Finally we went to ooty lake.
Ooty Lake is this hill town’s most famous and lively tourist spot. The lake itself is a pleasing body of water, hedged by beautiful trees on the far side. There’s a large area at the entrance with flower-, snack- and toy-sellers. Boating is the prime attraction and is great fun.the place has some specials too.Boating also available for tourist.we were not interested with that because we already done it.Surrounded by tall Eucalyptus tree, it makes for a serene place, with the waters owing to the different streams that run by the hills. Initially, water from the Ooty Lake was dammed to form the lake. The queen of hills ooty gave many important visit and unforgettable memories is well.we had a shopping in ooty of some special ooty snacks and ayurvedic oils and some nature products.we went to hotel and check out and got the bus in time.we had say thanks to our driver too because he helped in many way.thank you ooty
